The Kingdoms of Calabiyau
Within the elemental dimension lies a land of enchantment and mystery—a world that exists in parallel with humankind. Time passes differently, magic is as normal as the sunrise, and four distinctly different kingdoms maintain control.

Calabiyau Proper—The Kingdom of the Fée.
Ruled since the beginning of time by Kandide’s family, today, Calabiyau Proper is governed by representatives from the 12 primary Faery Clans (the High Council) as wells as its reigning monarch. The name is derived from Cala, which means land in language of the Fée, and Biyau, which is Kandide’s family name—hence Calabiyau.

Calabiyau West—
The Kingdom of the Banshees

When precious gems were discovered in the Year of the Fée 88 BT, (beginning of time) the Banshee Clans spilt off from the other Fée. Since that time, hundreds of different monarchs have ruled this separatist kingdom. In the Year of the Fée 26,449 BT, King Nastae assumed the throne.


 

Calabiyau East—Veil of The Mysts
Founded in the Year of the Fée 26,851 BT, the Veil is presided over by Selena as an independent, democratically governed territory. It is home to the Imperfects.

Calabiyau North – The Bardic Council
Founded in 20,247 and presided over by High Priestess Viviana, this secretive land is home to wizards, bards and the secrets of the great enchantments.

 

The 12 Primary Fée Clans of Calabiyau Proper

Each aspect of life has its faery guardians. In Calabiyau Proper, the High Council consists of individuals who represent the 12 primary Fée clans. Each of these primary clans have endless sub-clans known as Guardians of Life. The 12 primary clans, High Council representatives, and major sub-clans are:
