Queen Tiyana is the mother of Kandide, Teren, and Tara. She ruled beside their father, the great King Toeyad, for well over a hundred and fifty years as the Fee measure time. Tiyana is well-loved by her subjects, and has an identical twin sister named Selena. The only thing King Toeyad and Tiyana ever argued about is Kandide--who the great king spoiled in every way.

Selena

Selena is Queen Tiyana's identical twin sister. As was the law of the land, she was sent away when her wing was injured and could not be healed. King Toeyad created a secret place in the dead forest known as the Mists for her to live--a magical world that is protected by an impenetrable shield called the Veil. Selena and Jake created a sanctuary Chateau in the Mists for other Imperfects--those who are not physically perfect and were also sent away.

Leanne

Leanne is a powerful Healer who lives in the Chateau in the Mists. Jake found her wandering alone in the dead forest when she was just four years old in human years. Leanne was sent away because she's blind. The irony of the Healers is that their magic can heal others, but they cannot heal themselves.
